To comply with the federal and state government directives on social distancing, all sanctioned soccer activity is suspended through April 30.
Furthermore, Governor Wolf has issued a stay at home order for 22 counties, most of which make up Eastern Pennsylvania. Please practice appropriate physical distancing and hygiene measures, stay home where necessary, and hopefully we’re all going to be healthy and able to see each other back on the fields in good time.
We
will continue to update our families on any additional information and
if this date is to be extended. We apologize for the inconvenience this
may cause but this move is in the best interest of the safety of our
players, coaches, volunteers, and families.
Suspended sanctioned soccer extends to all leagues and clubs. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Training
- Organized kick arounds or fitness activities
- Games or scrimmages
- Tournaments
- Referee and coaching courses
- State Cups
- Indoor/futsal
This also includes any
Coventry Soccer events with the gathering of players and families.
Tournament cancellations will be communicated as we gather additional direction from EPYSA.
Coventry
Soccer is committed to ensuring the safety, security, and wellness of
our players, coaches, volunteers, and families, and we will continue to
provide updates as more information becomes available
