Coventry
Soccer Association is an all-volunteer soccer club which would not be
possible without the help of our parent volunteers.
As
many of you know, CSA has significantly lower player fees for
intramural and travel than most other local clubs. Our club
is a non-profit organization and is run by a volunteer Board of
Directors. Our parent volunteers are the backbone of CSA and make this
possible - from coaches and assistant coaches, to field coordinators, to
referee assignors, to field maintenance, and more.
The
following experience is from a recently added club volunteer:
"Volunteering is a terrific way to get involved in your child’s
soccer experience while supporting your
soccer
club and the CSA community in general. My daughter joined CSA when she
was 5 years old and will be returning this
fall to play travel. The past 2 years I’ve volunteered as a team
manager. Moving forward I’ll be expanding that role based on the needs
of the club. It means a great deal to my daughter to have me volunteer.
As a family, we’ve met many wonderful players,
parents, and coaches and it’s important for us to help other families
have a similarly positive experience that their children can grow with."
CSA
would like to take this opportunity to ask each of you to please
consider volunteering in whatever way is comfortable for
you and your family. As parents, we understand that schedules can be
daunting and free-time is scarce. We ask that you take a look at the
list of volunteer opportunities below and select up to 3 positions that
would work with your personal interests, skills,
and schedule. ANY time that you can lend is greatly appreciated!
If you are getting this email you selected "general help" in the club volunteer options when you registered your player for
Travel Soccer Try outs.
